Apparently the economy isn't that bad after all.

When I returned after lunch to pick up my stuff and head for home, I found the church organist just packing up her things and getting ready to leave.
 
 

Breaking News:  Michigan's legislature, currently divided over the pronunciation of GLCE's (long 'e' or silent 'e'), promises to have a state-mandated pronunciation by next school year.

And, I love the language - "yah" "shooor" "youbetcha"  - something akin to living up in the Saginaw Valley and hanging around Frankenmuth a lot.

"Remember the year we spent most of the vacation motoring down around the bend to that reed bed because we kept finding schools of walleye just off there in about 12 feet of water?"
